General

Do you allow children at the cottages?

The properties are not suitable for children of any age including babies.

Is there somewhere secure to store my bicycle?

The garden is secure and safe to leave your bicycle.  The apartment has a downstairs hallway that could be used overnight instead.

Is there parking at the property?

There is no parking at the property but you can pull up outside for loading and unloading  and the square opposite has free parking.

Are local attractions currently open?

We suggest you check each property separately.  Most websites provide up to date information.  A lot of places are currently requiring pre-booking.

Do the cottages have wifi?

We have superfast wifi in both cottages so streaming online services or conducting meetings from the properties will not be a problem.

What are check in and check out times?

Check in is from 3pm and checkout by 10am.  This gives us plenty of time to ensure the property is thoroughly cleaned between guests.

How close is the cottage to the beach?

It is a 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive to Warkworth beach.

Are there any shops in the village?

There is a newsagent that has a good range of essentials which closes at 5pm most days.  There are larger supermarkets in Amble and Alnwick.

When do I need to make my final payment?

Final payment is required 30 days before arrival.

Dogs

Do the cottages allow dogs?

We allow up to 2 medium sized dogs at the properties.  We will not accept more. They must not be left alone in the cottage.

Is the garden secure for dogs?

The garden is fully enclosed with high walls on all sides.

Is there anywhere that is dog friendly in the village to eat and drink?

There are a range of cafes and pubs in the village that are dog friendly and walking distance from the property.

Are the beaches in the area dog friendly?

All the beaches in Northumberland are dog friendly all year round.

Will you refund us if government Covid restrictions prevent us from travelling?

If government restrictions state you should not be travelling or our area does not recommend it then we will either move your booking to alternative dates or refund your booking.

What is being done to make the cottages covid safe?

The properties are being cleaned twice between guests, the second with antibacterial spray. We have removed some soft furnishings and rewash cooking equipment between lets. Full details will be provided shortly before travel.
