Fabulous 5 nt stay in lovely appartment . Central Warkworth very dog friendly town and lovely pubs,walks,beach everything within walking distance. Appartment lovely and quiet . Beautiful garden . Lara and Andy great hosts there if you need anything. Central to walk to Amble too or visit all Northumberland coast line. Free parking close by. Thank you .

We had a lovely, cosy time staying in the apartment over the New Year despite the weather being somewhat ‘bracing ‘ on a couple of the days! It is very comfortable and the garden is very dog secure. There are also plenty of walks, pubs and restaurants in the surrounding area. The owners, Lara and Andy, were also very helpful.
You certainly didn’t hit the best time for weather but there was still the opportunity to get out most days. The apartment is lovely and warm even on the coldest days and as you said there are plenty of local pubs and restaurants to while away a few hours while you are drying out!! We have just returned from our stay at Cross House Apartment August 2024 with our doggie. We would highly recommend and would love to return here. Garden is fully enclosed and safe and there are two very friendly poodles who are the owners. The Apartment is superbly kitted out with pretty much everything you would need for your stay. Warkworth is absolutely beautiful and a charming village with plenty of places to eat, drink and visit. Lara and Andy are the perfect hosts.

Beautiful place to stay, clean tidy quiet lovely garden and right in the centre of Warkworth, right next to pubs/restaurants 2 min walk from Riverside and 5 mins to castle,and a 2/3 min drive to the beach.Would certainly recommend and will stay here again

A comfortable and well equipped apartment, friendly and helpful owners on site if assistance is required. A good central point for walking, National Trust properties and places of interest. A convenient train link to both Edinburgh and Newcastle. A really enjoyable holiday would not hesitate to recommend.
Although a lot of our guests visit the many National Trust and English Heritage properties during their stay very few venture into Newcastle or Edinburgh but with Newcastle just over 30 mins and Edinburgh just over an hour away a trip to the city is an easy option as a change from the beach and countryside. We are glad you enjoyed your visit.

What a lovely comfortable place to stay, felt very relaxed in our 4 nights here! just a few footsteps away from local shops/pubs/restaurants, nice walks to the beach and by the river, and linked by the bus for trips further afield, would definately recommend.
Thank you for taking the time to review our property. Many of our guests find that leaving the car parked and using the regular bus service to visit other places is a great option in conjunction with walking directly from the property.
